Posted by Unfortunately I’ve had to take down the match search and player match search facilities. If you try to do these things (which includes clicking on links in a player stats table), you’ll just end up at a page with nothing useful on it. For now.
The backstory is that there is some big inefficiency in the way these searches are done. You might have noticed those pages being slow to load from time-to-time. When the various web crawlers find my site and start hitting all of these pages, it puts a huge load on the SQL server. The site has been taken down a couple of times because of this, and I’ve previously implemented a quick-fix of blocking the specific bots. A better solution will require me to fix up the inefficiency.
Hopefully that is not too difficult, but it may take me a little while to find the time. Thanks in advance for your patience.
