For the first Australia Day “Big Blue” down in Melbourne, the wedge-shaped away bay in AAMI Park was covered by a triangular pullover resembling the Port of Sydney flag, with “SFC” in the usually-blank quadrants. A banner at the top of the bay read “Happy Republic of Sydney Day”.

For Sydney’s first match at Kogarah Oval, a pullover showing the Grim Reaper pouring the Brisbane Roar’s lion head logo through an hourglass, with the message “Your time will end”.

A Sydney Harbour-based remake of Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, with the central figure flanked by two cherubic Sydney supporters. The banner below read “Sydney – Australia’s Masterpiece”.
